After it was released, many players started requesting for Nairo to be unbanned from tournaments and to be unbanned from Twitch, making #UnbanNairo trend on Twitter with over 200,000 tweets and making it reach the top of the trending list. Nairo made one final update on February 19th, 2021, explaining that everything was resolved that he was considering going back to streaming. On October 28, 2020, Nairo issued another statement explaining his version of the events, including claims that CaptainZack had raped and blackmailed him.
NRG Esports cut ties with Nairo on Jdue to these allegations. Following the allegations, Nairo deactivated his Twitter account for several hours, then released a statement apologizing for his behavior. At the time, CaptainZack was 15 and Nairo was 20. On July 2, 2020, CaptainZack accused Nairo of having a sexual relationship with him. Nairo was signed by NRG Esports on August 24, 2016.
